Vacation Rentals Rental Agreement

Historic Vacation Rentals

The National Register of Historic Places and the City of West Palm Beach historic Preservation Board both recognize our vacation rentals. Each short-term vacation renal is separately licensed and owned by Cheryl and Kirk Grantham with iTrip Vacation Rentals Palm Beach managing each property as self-catering accommodations. Vacation rentals are separate from Casa Grandview Bed and Breakfast, meaning they are not entitled to the same amenities and services as that separately licensed and resident-proprietor operated inn. Smoking of any substance as well as vaping, lighting candles, incense, charcoal grills and other similar activities are prohibited while staying at the vacation rental. All guests must be 21 or older to reserve though there is an exceptions for Military guests who are 18. Families with well-behaved children are welcome to the vacation rentals. All group rentals are prohibited pursuant to city ordinance. There is a contactless check-in option available as guest arrive directly to the vacation rental address of the reserved rental. Guests will receive arrival information and address via email in advance with the balance paid 30 days before arrival. Guests will also receive a Vacation Rental Checklist that will include more helpful arrival and departure information. Occupancy of each rental will not be exceeded. Visitors may request a private barbecue grill and tank in their yard. This costs $75 per week or $150 per month. Please make advance arrangements via emails for this service.

All vacation rentals come fully furnished and include self-catering options with kitchens. Guests agree not to move either indoor or outdoor furniture as well as to keep windows and doors closed pursuant to Division of Hotels regulations. Smoking of any substance is strictly prohibited in all vacation rentals. Any guest found using illegal drugs will result in the termination of the rental agreement. Visitors can request housekeeping services for an additional fee. Are housekeeping services are scheduled with a licensed and local service (details below). Vacation Rental Deposit/Payment Details

All guest reservations are guaranteed with an advance credit card deposit of 50% of the reservation cost and taxes on the credit card at booking. Any balance is due 30 days before arrival and visitors agree to pay the amount via the credit card on file. Casa Grandview accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express. All guests agree to the balance being charged 30 days ahead of arrival. The "staying guest" must provide credit card details and a positive I.D. (valid license or passport) prior to arrival.

Guests can prepay the deposit and balance by using a bank check and receive a 5% discount on their reservation. Payment by check must be completed 30 days ahead of arrival.

Gift certificates are not eligible for vacation rental deposit. Vacation Rental Cancellation

Those with a reservation can cancel their vacation rental via email. Any cancellation outside of 30 days is subject to an administrative fee. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, you agree to the remaining balance being charged on the card provided. If those days can be resold, then a refund will be issued minus the administrative fee of $50 or 5%, whichever is greater. If those dates aren't sold, then the balance is paid in full and the person will receive a credit for a future stay within 12 months of the original reservation dates. Any reservation modifications will require a $35 fee. Cancellations are also subject to an administrative fee. Any early departures will not receive a refund. Casa Grandview recommends its guest purchase trip insurance. Any third party reservations are non-refundable.

Vacation Rental Details

Occupancy capacity is based on full-rate reservations. Occupancy for each rental is available on the accommodation page. Guests shall not exceed the maximum occupancy. There are discounted promotional rates for two guests only. There is an additional guests fee of $35 per person if room capacity allows.

The short-term vacation rentals welcome well-behaved children and their parents except for the Guest House, which has a capacity for two adults or a couple and an infant. There are no additional fees for children 12 and under. The same rules apply to no exceeding maximum occupancy.

The vacation rentals are self-catering and do not include any housekeeping during the stay. No other services available at the Casa Grandview Bed and Breakfast are applicable to the vacation rentals since the inn is separately licensed and operated. You can arrange for housekeeping services through a licensed professional cleaning service. This costs $80 per hour for two maids. There is a 2.5-hour minimum and advance notice for scheduling is required. You can set up that service by calling Cheryl at 561-313-9695. Guests also agree to follow the Vacation Rental Checklist. If occupancy is exceeded, dishes are left for housekeeping to wash or any other extraordinary cleaning is necessary at departure, the guest agrees to pay and additional cleaning fee on the credit card provided.

All rentals are professionally cleaned, disinfected and sanitized prior to arrival. Beds are made with fresh linens as well. Charleston, Bahama, Key West and Seagrass do offer a washer and dryer. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer available for all registered rental guests staying in an accommodation without their own washer or dryer. Jack Sheehan's Cleaners, 1510 Lake Ave., is just two blocks west at Howard Park and are available for washing, folding and dry cleaning services. If guests do decide to wash our linens, please refrain from using bleach on the sheets or towels. Guests should also separate white sheets or towels when washing. If there are any damages and/or missing linens, guests agree to pay for damages via the credit card used for the reservation.

All vacation rentals are fully furnished and do offer equipped kitchens. Complimentary items on arrival only include a 10-ounce bag of coffee or Caribou beans, Cuisinart coffee machine, half n' half, bottled water, dishwasher pods, paper products, cleaning supplies, trash bags, Gilchrist & Soames shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion. Products are intended for use while on property. If guest removes items from the property, the guest will pay for replacement costs of the items.

Guests do agree to credit card authorization will be kept on file for the entirety of the stay for security deposit. Guest also agrees to pay a replacement fee for broken or missing items, red wine or other damage to bedding, towels, flooring, furnishing and property. Guest also agrees to pay a $350 fine for smoking in the accommodation via the credit card used for reservation. Please do not place the flat iron on furniture, which could lead to damages resulting in a fee. Guests should also not move the furniture, which could also result in a damages fee.

If guest leave any clothing or personal items behind, guests can mail us a postage-paid mailer for a return. Once we receive the mailer or box, we will return any forgotten personal items. Any items held over 30 days without a response from guest or mailer will be donated to local charities.

Hurricane Policy

In the case of any cancellations, delays or interruptions of travel due to weather or illness, guest agree to take responsibility for said situations. Guest also acknowledges we recommend protecting your trip with trip insurance. If the City of West Palm Beach issues an evacuation order because of a hurricane within 24 hours of your arrival, we will provide a refund and credit any deposits to a future stay and you must leave the city. Again, we recommend purchasing trip insurance.

Dog Policy

Casa Grandview offers two dog-friendly vacation rentals, providing our canine guests the same comfortable surroundings as their owners. If you plan to bring a dog, please contact us ahead of time to discuss our "pooch policy" and receive approval to bring your dog. Your dog must have a valid rabies shot, current license tag, proof of flea meds and a bath all ahead of your arrival. We allow for crate-trained dogs under 35 pounds. All dogs must be accompanied by their owner at all times and must be leashed pursuant to Palm Beach County Regulations. Pets may not be left outside in the yard. Remember, South Florida has a warm climate. Dogs are also not permitted in any common areas. Pleas note the cleaning fee under vacation rental accommodation.
