“We miss it!” 3/5/10 Norway "We found the address in a travel guide and then looked it up in Tripadvisor. We stayed for 5 nights. It truly was a great place to stay.
After almost 20 hours of travel, Cheryl greeted us warmly and we were able to quickly enjoy our bungalow. She made sure we had food for the next morning in the fridge, so we did not have to go out again. The bungalow was great: 2 great bedrooms (awesome beds), living room and kitchen with all you need. There was a parking space right next to the entrance. Located centrally in West Palm Beach were we were able to enjoy the city, the coast and our bungalow. We left for Miami Beach and missed it from day 1."

“Fabulous Gem in a Great Neighborhood”  3/1/10  We stayed at the South Beach Deco Cottage and loved every minute of our experience. There was a very comfortable king bed with luxurious sheets. Nothing was left out - there were complimentary robes to wear, breakfast items in the kitchen, thick and plush towels, toiletry items in the medicine cabinet and every possible top-of-the-line item you could possibly need. The appointments were very eclectic and beautiful. It was a true romantic and private getaway and still close to everything. We definitely want to come back.

Cheryl and Kirk are gracious, hospitable and professional innkeepers who have given great care and attention to every detail for every guest. This reasonably priced upscale inn has everything you would want or need with a little extra for good measure. It's by far the best place I've ever stayed. I loved everything about it.

A Little Piece of Paradise - Tucked Away”  1/21/10   My husband and I stayed at the Casa Grandview and  accommodations were simply stunning! The South Beach Art Deco bungalow was divine! The bedroom (and luxurious sheets) were beyond wonderful; great to wake up in morning and be able to prepare our own breakfast. The proprietors keep the kitchen(s) fully stocked... from food and drinks to dishes/utensils and pots. Two beautiful pools... which are also tucked away and private. They also offer free bike rentals... perfect for an early morning ride to Palm Beach. We would definitely stay at Casa Grandview again!



“Delightful suite, great location and gracious hosts!”  12/29/09  My husband and I stayed in the Barefoot Bahama Breeze Cabana over Christmas. What a good choice for a special holiday! The resort location in a West Palm historic district is wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and the nearby park. The beach and the shops of Worth Ave were about a mile and a half east of the property. And the CityPlace shopping mall with many restaurants and shops, a grocery and a movie theater was near enough to walk.


The suite itself was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Everything was very clean and in great condition. My husband really enjoyed the flat screen LCDTV and the grounds and pools are tropical, lush and private.


Best of all were the owners. They were genuinely interested in their guests having an enjoyable stay. They even had a sumptuous brunch on Christmas morning where we got to meet other guests.  This just may become a holiday tradition!

“I went to West Palm Beach with my mother for vacation. Had spoken a few times with the proprietor, Cheryl, several times and she was very pleasant and helpful in making the reservation. She showed us the property and the amenities in our cottage, and gave us several recommendation about local restaurants and beaches. The cottage was well maintained and equipped. The beds were soft & plush and the gardens lush! Can't wait to return!

Wonderful Weekend!    11/3/09   “My husband and I went to West Palm Beach for our anniversary.  We loved the  loaner bikes which we used two mornings, once to ride up to CityPlace which is about 1 mile away, and once to ride along the water. There are lots of neat places to ride in town. We also loved the coziness of the cottage we stayed in and enjoyed the overall surroundings. Situated in a very eclectic neighborhood - wonderful to ride around and look at the different home styles and to have easy access to the downtown and water areas.

“Casa Grandview - a lush, tropical enclave in West Palm Beach” 2/10 My friend & I planned a spur of the moment trip to West Palm Beach last month. When we visited the discount travel sites, we had very few reasonably priced options -near the airport, or incredibly pricey beachside hotels. We found this place by accident on the WPB CVB website & immediately fell in love with it. The property is nestled in a lush tropical garden setting - in the middle of the historic Grandview Heights district. It is convenient central location makes for an easy drive to the airport, beaches, Wellington and major highways.

The main building is a gorgeous historic site, almost hidden in the tropical gardens that add an element of peacefulness & privacy to the property. While there were about 15 properties/units nearby, we very rarely saw or heard other people - something you won't find in a regular hotel. Our cottage was impeccably decorated (love the antiques!) and came with lots of thoughtful special touches & extras,  comfy bathrobes, a gorgeous kitchen w/outdoor grilling area, a washer/dryer, wireless and a full bookcase (dvds, too!)! 

The pool/jacuzzi was absolutely wonderful - and is every bit as beautiful as pictured on their website. The price couldn't be beat, either! I recommend this property for couples who want to get away from it all, families who like to travel in style on a budget or people who enjoy staying in a roomy upscale environment vs. a small hotel room. At the end of the trip, my friend and I both agreed to come back for a 2 week stay next year, and hopefully bring friends & family with us.

“A welcome respite from business activities”  2/19/10  Casa Grandview was the perfect place for my husband and me while we were on business in West Palm. After being on our feet all
day, it was wonderful to return to our cozy cottage and put our feet up
and relax. What a terrific alternative to staying in a hotel. We could

2/3/10  Just What We Wanted! "We stayed over Xmas and NY for 10 nights with our family and friends. CGV was perfect for our needs. The owners went out of their way to be helpful even to the extent of leading us to places in their car to ensure we did not get lost and inviting us, and of course other guests, to their house to parties over the festive period. Whenever we asked for extras such as an additional crib for our bungalow so our grandson could sleep with us Cheryl dealt with our requests at once and never charged for any extra. PS. We had a sensational meal at Cafe Boulud. Very expensive but worth every cent!"  England

Home Away From Home!  11/3/09  "We booked a stay at Casa Grandview as a result of the TripAdvisor Reviews....and there were NO disappointments. Staff was very friendly & helpful...yet not intrusive at all. Our cottage was just perfect. A very comfy feel as soon as you walk in..the bed was so comfortable...nice flat screen TV and couch and the kitchen was wonderful. A few of the nights we actually ordered in and watched the World Series and Football games. The grounds are so pretty, the pools were wonderful, private and clean. One day we decided to head to the beach and they provided beach chairs, towels and umbrella.... We would highly recommend this Resort without a doubt...and will be back as soon as we can." 



They provided fixings for breakfast which we made in the full kitchen in our private bungalow. My husband prefers this to eating with large groups. We ate out on the private patio and had a wonderful time relaxing in and around the home. We'll definitely go back and recommend this to anyone who likes the laid back experience of a B&B but would prefer a little more privacy than the standard B&B offers. Barefoot Suite 10/09  "We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Grandview’s Barefoot Ocean Breeze Cabana Suite.  The owners are really nice and the staff is a joy!  We found the place online, loved the pictures.  When we got here we discovered that the pictures were just a taste of how BEAUTIFUL the place is.  Beats a hotel any day! CityPlace is a must visit.  Be sure to go to the Cheesecake Factory for take-out cheesecake to enjoy while watching a movie on the large TV w/ 50,000,000 channels!  You cannot leave without enjoying the Jacuzzi at night.  The beach is not far away. "We've stayed at a lot of rental properties, but Casa Grandview goes beyond all the others by a long shot. I loved have all the personal items and toiletries available, along with the very nice quality linens and robes. And the 'welcome basket' of breakfast foods, soft drinks and water was greatly appreciated.”

Gem in West Palm Beach!  1/09  "My girlfriend and I spent New Year's Eve 2009 at Casa Grandview in West Palm Beach where the property is made up of small cottages and homes. It is within walking distance from the beautiful shops and restaurants of CityPlace. There are a few pools on the property and it is surrounded by lush greenery."

This is a great place to come to if you need a vacation to getaway or to celebrate a romantic getaway. My husband and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary and we had such a fun and romantic time. It is also a great place to come with your whole family!"

Wonderful Getaway! 1/09  “We enjoyed wonderful hands-on service from the owner. The cottage had recently updated decor and furnishings. They don't serve a hot breakfast, but stock your kitchen with breakfast items (muffins, juice, milk, fruit, sodas, waters, etc.). We loved the location...could walk to City Place for dinner. We would most definitely visit again!”

Hands Down, the Best! 5/22/09  “We have just returned from our vacation to West Palm Beach.. we only live an hour away, but after finding the Casa Grandview last year I will just about find any reason to go check in there. I have traveled all over the world and hands down the Casa is my favorite place to stay. Not only do the owners take you in like family; they also set you up with muffins and fruit and beverages. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms even comfier!"
