Reservation Policies and Fees
Enjoy luxury West Palm Beach lodging accommodations at its finest when you choose Casa Grandview Historic Luxury Inn, Cottages, & Suites. We strive to make your accommodations in the Downtown West Palm Beach historic area a unique and memorable experience, whether traveling for business or leisure.

Cancellations/Reservations/General Policies:

Deposits: Reservations are guaranteed with a 50% credit card deposit. Balance is due upon arrival. We accept all major credit cards. Balance due at check-in. Written cancellations accepted from reservation holder. Refund subject to bank fee. If within 30 days of arrival, 100% of stay charged to credit card unless same days sold. After full payment, credit issued for future stay (must be redeemed within one year of reservation date). No refund on early departure. When possible, reservation modification subject to $35 administrative fee. Bank card processing fees deducted prior to all cancellations or deposit refunds. If you reserve a special which requires full payment in advance 100% due at time of booking with no cancellations or refunds (note special rules).

Cancellation Policy: No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations within 48 hours of making reservations. If you must cancel after the 48 hour release period, but at least 30 days prior to the arrival date, a $100 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival up to 100% of the total stay will be charged to your credit card. All cancellations must be received in writing. At the owner's discretion, a partial refund may be issued if the same days are re-sold. At the owner's discretion, a cancellation fee may be applied to a future stay in a Casa Grandview resort dwelling.

Additional Guests: All rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $35.00 per night charge for each additional guest age 13 and over. Maximum occupancy shall not be exceeded.

Children: Well-behaved children are welcome. No additional fee per day for children 12 and under. Maximum occupancy shall not be exceeded.

Cleaning Fees: Cleaning fees are INCLUDED in rates for all inn guestrooms, cottages and cabana suites for up to four persons per accommodation. Additional persons will incur a one- time final cleaning fee of $125.00.

Check-in: Please arrive between 3:00-6:00 pm at 1410 Georgia Ave West Palm Beach, FL 33401 at Casa Grandview. Late check-in available with prior owner approval- Please call us if you are going to be delayed, so we do not worry about you and can plan accordingly.

Check-out: Please depart prior to 11:00 a.m. A late check-out may be possible with prior owner approval. If check-out occurs after noon, a fee of $40.00 will be accessed up to 3:00 p.m. After 3:00 p.m. a full nightly rate. We are more than happy to look after luggage, if needed.

Housekeeping: Accommodations cleaned and linens refreshed. Cottages offer washer/dryer. Deco suites share coin operated W/D, products provided. Dry cleaning, or wash/fold available at Sheehan's, 1510 Lake Avenue (two blocks) west.

Complimentary products, cleaning supplies, detergents, shower gel, shampoo, and paper products provided on arrival. Weekly Stay: linen change offered (please request due to water restrictions). Extended Stay: includes linen change with optional cleaning available at $20 hour, plus tax, advance notice.

Security Deposit: Credit card signature authorization on file during stay for security deposit. Guest agrees to pay replacement fee for missing items, damage to bedding, towels, flooring, furnishings, and any Casa Grandview property. Please no bleach and separate whites and colors. Inspection of accommodation conducted on departure. Unreported damage or missing items will result in fee to credit card.

BICYCLES: Please sign Release of Liability for daily bicycle use. Bicycles are your responsibility. Bicycle helmets and locks provided. Loss of bicycle or equipment: $200 bicycle, $40 helmet, $20 bike lock loss charged to card on file. Replacement cost charged for damages missing parts.

GUESTS: Guests are welcome to visit, but may not park in the compound. On street parking available on Georgia or Florida Avenue, New York or P Street. Unregistered overnight guest and parking fee will be charged.

DIRECTV/DVD/CD Players: We offer satellite or cable service, DVD player, CD/radio/alarm clock, iPod Docking Stations, or iPod Home clock radios. Select accommodations offer latptop safes. 

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS: We offer complimentary Wi-Fi for all accommodations and grounds. 

LICENSING/SAFETY: City, County, and State licensed B&B and Vacation Rentals. Smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and certified fire extinguishers provided. We assume no liability for accidents on property.

MAINTENANCE/REPAIR: We strive to maintain accommodations on the same level we maintain our home. Please advise office of concerns in accommodation or pool areas. Repairs scheduled between 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Please do not make repairs. Damage to property or equipment will result in a charge to credit card.

NEIGHBORS: Situated in Grandview Heights Historic District. Please respect neighbors/guests observe Noise Ordinance prohibiting disturbances after 10 p.m.

PARKING: Complimentary parking provided.

PETS: Contact owner by e-mail, if you plan to travel with your pet as advance approval is required and pet fees apply. Fees: $125 one-time non-refundable fee for pet sanitation. Not all accommodations are pet-friendly. Please inquire. Dogs are the only pets allowed.

Smoking: There is no smoking allowed inside the accommodations. Please use designated areas and be courteous of other guests. Casa Grandview is smoke-free. Use of candles, incense, torches, charcoal barbeques, and firepots prohibited due to insurance regulations. Gas grills available. Smoking permitted outdoors. Please be considerate of other guests, and dispose of cigarettes in smoking pails provided. If you smoke indoors, your credit card will be charged $350.

SWIMMING POOLS: Guests may enjoy the swimming pools. No Lifeguard on Duty. No diving, jumping, running, shouting permitted. Release of Liability must be signed prior to use. As the registered guest, children/guests in your party and on property are your responsibility. State/County safety law prohibits diving/jumping/running in or around pool.

Children under 16 to be accompanied by parent or guardian in or around pool/spa area. Spa use for adults only - PBC Health Regulations, please limit use to 15minute session. The whirlpool spa requires reservations and may be booked upon your arrival or during your stay, but not before. The spa available during office hours or by advance reservation up to 8:30 p.m. Pools close at 9:00 p.m. GLASS prohibited in pool areas. Broken glass or equipment tampering will result in charges to guest credit card. Pool gate must remain closed at all times. Please be consider of others and return floats and pool toys to rack and do not leave in pool.

Casa Grandview pools are heated to 82 degrees. Please note, if temperature drops below 55 degrees, pool heating may not be guaranteed, and adult use of spa available. Tampering with
equipment or thermostat will result in a charge to the guest for heating cost.

Taxes: add 6.0% sales tax and 5.0% tourist tax (11%)

Hurricane Season in Southeast Florida:  Here are a few important links and resources as you prepare for a trip to South Florida during Hurricane Season. Casa Grandview will keep you posted on any emergency updates and procedures. Hurricane Season officially runs from June 1 through November 30. That doesn’t mean we can’t have a hurricane in any other month, but over 97% of tropical storms have occurred during this period. Historically, approximately half of the major hurricanes to make landfall in Southeast Florida have occurred in September, with the remainder split between August and October.  Important Links for Hurricane Season.  Check out our blog for last minute updates.
