CELEBRATE THE WATERFRONT FROM A NEW PERSPECTIVE!

#FlaglerShore

The City of West Palm Beach and West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority has created a five-month pilot project to reclaim more public space for the community along the Waterfront. From Lake Avenue to Banyan Boulevard on Flagler Drive people, bikes, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors now have an additional 63,000 square feet, making the waterfront a more vibrant public space.

FLAGLER DRIVE FROM LAKE AVENUE TO BANYAN BOULEVARD
NOW – MARCH 1, 2018

Flagler Shore will provide 63,000 sq. ft. of newly claimed public space along the West Palm Beach waterfront that will be repurposed in a variety of ways to be more actively used on a daily basis. The new design will feature colorful seating including benches, bistro tables and chairs that can be easily moved for those seeking a shaded area. Casa Grandview on Tour!

  • From the Respectable Street mural to Casa Grandview , you’ll really get to know West Palm on this tour. Casa Grandview is a local bed and breakfast located in Grandview Heights. The owner Cheryl is usually helping her guests or serving breakfast on the deck.

. . . "After about an hour’s ride, Casa Grandview was in sight. We rode through French Quarter Street, enjoying the cool morning breeze as it whistled down the narrow street. Charming and welcoming, Casa Grandview turned out to be a rather nice surprise—a cluster of cottages securely hidden off the beaten path."  Read More

Imagine a walking tour of beautiful downtown West Palm Beach…the history, the architecture, the lifestyle and the culture. Now imagine adding a generous sampling of the area’s best local cuisine, and you’ve got a food tour. You’ll experience our city through food because food tells the story of a neighborhood’s people, history and culture.

Culinary Tourism is a popular trend in travel, combining sightseeing and lunch into one delicious adventure. Guests are always surprised how much of the story of our area can be told with food, and that’s what makes a food tour different than a regular sightseeing tour.
